At youth group a couple weeks ago we looked at Romans 14 and those “weak” and “strong” in faith. I think all of us were challenged by the night. We began by asking the question, “who is more godly?” and filling it out with different scenarios:

John Stott’s commentary on Romans (IVP, 1994) is superbly written and wonderfully combines exegetical skill, pastoral wisdom, theological precision, and an evangelistic burden. His comments on Romans 2:12-16 where Paul speaks of the law that Gentiles know “by nature” is an example:
…the law is a basis of Christian mission, of both evangelism and social action. [...]
